An abandoned hacienda-style home sits, out-of-place, in Odenton, MD. This house is just across from where my son works part-time. I've been noticing the brilliant white stucco walls in the morning light every time I drop him off. Finally got out and took some photos. I think what this is telling me is that despite its run-down condition, I find this structure rather beautiful. I'm glad someone, a long time ago, went against convention and built a stucco-and-tile house in Maryland.
Steve, I like this very much my friend, and the colors and the clarity are amazing.. very nice capture....jon ps: I work every Thursday at the great auction in Bel Air MD buying cars for dealers in Philadelphia...
Respectful disagreement with Mr. Barclay . . . though I do think that a bit more clarity is required. I am very drawn to the series, but the lighting and the symmetry is slightly imperfect . . . However, that said, the beauty is in the idea primarily, and the idea is gorgeous.
Hi Steve, for some reason I'm not drawn to any of this series... In trying to figure out why, I think its because of the vast amount of white that my eye is drawn to. I think if it was a different warmer color I would like it better.
