I like the idea behind this - both with the colour and contrasts.
However, IMHO I think cropping out (or painting out) the distraction in the top-left corner might be useful. A narrower image wouldn't hurt here. And, if software avail., a small amount of perspective correction.
I like the white sky and the way it compliments the white buildings, but perhaps a little more contrast would enhance even that. I hope you revisit and explore this scene more in the near future.

Hi Janet,
Great photograph, but get rid of that distracting part of a frond in the upper left hand corner.
Other than that, I really like your image, almost monotone except for the bright blue!
NICE WORK!!
