Hallo Hugo,
Verglijking met je andere fotos is deze foto niet kunstig(dat heb je zelf ook gezegt)het is meer een journalism foto. Maar het is leuk om te zien een Nederlander heeft belangstelling in Iran en hoe het land uitzieten ook geschidenis van het land.Blijkbaar heb je zelf Iran meegemaakt. Dat maakt die fotos nog waardiger. Misschien dat zeg ik omdat ik een Iraanse ben en in Nederland weinig mensen gezien om moeiete te nemen om Iran(ook andere landen) en de mensen en hun cultuur te leren kennen.

Very sad photo. And believe me, we know what earthquake means! Even with no so many deaths in my country, earthquakes are lots! Every day and at least one is very strong per year! More than 6 rickters! In Bam and other places, earthquakes are like war! Ruid and deths. Nothing else. :-(

Living in the earthquake prone country of Japan, and feeling tremors on a regular basis, I shudder to think of the devestation and pain caused by the 'long overdue' big one hitting Tokyo and it's surrounds - an area in which 27 million people reside. But after Kobe, and other great quakes around the world, there are two factors that always shine through - the spirit and resiliency of those worse effected, and the generosity of those who come to their aid. Great journalism series Hugo, thanks for sharing it with use. It gives us a personal glimpse into nature's fury.
