I was really trying to do a still life, but the temptation was too great when I noticed that the baseball was almost the same size as the orange. This is my first experience with cutting out a background and replacing it with texture. What do you think.
Paul & Kristina, I am working on another version to correct the blurry fruit. I really hadn't noticed how bad it was, but the next will be better. Thanks for your comments. They help me a great deal. Look for a better version soon . . . ---Duane---
I think the texture compositing went ok, but overall this picture is 'flat'. The whites are not fully white, nor the darks completely black. The other difficulty is that the objects are slightly out of focus, while your comp'd background is crystal clear.
