I love shots like this, and I am most impressed with the sharpness and the tonal balance of this photo. I have a Nikon 4300 (very similar to the 800), that I use for hiking and mountain biking. It never fails to impress. Soon I will post some of my shots of decaying buildings and old cars, and I look forward to your comments.

Very nice! Abandoned and decaying, but not really depressing in this case - I guess because it still looks neat and 'cared for' in a way. Interesting that the old tree looks like it died right along with the house, as though somehow linked to it's fate!
