This shot is absolutely a perfect photograph, Barry! You are putting my bird photos to shame here. Stop it now, before I pull the plug on my Panasonic!

Very beautiful, Barry! Perfect timing and so wonderful light on the seagull! I love the deep blue colour of the water as well. Cool splash in the water... Did the bird drop an egg? ;-))
Ps. About my butterfly... Haha... I have never thought of that butterfly in English is butter + fly. It must have a reason for that... so perhaps they DO like butter?

This is absolutely brilliant photography. Kudos.
What I find absurd is that I see an ill focussed shot of bad graffitti on the main page, and a shot like this goes relatively unnoticed. Hmm.

I think your patience to wait for the exact right moment is impressive. Incredible sharpness and clarity too. A stunning shot, ready for entering in the wildlife photography contest....:) The motion of the gull and the lapse of time (or at least the hint at that) from the slight touch down is outstanding! Into my favourites. I would be really, REALLY happy if I ever succeed in capturing such a moment. My compliments, Barry!
Cheers,
Hugo
