Kim what you see as noise is actually water drops. This is an outdoor fountain and it was scanned from a slide. Thanks for your comment.

I'm not sure how you're scanning this, if it's on a flatbed scanner, or scanning the neg, but there seems to be a lot of digital noise present. Almost like chunky artifacts throughout the water. Unless, of course, it's my eyes playing tricks on me, and the water is starting to look like noise. It's a very creative "flower" and well seen!

Ron, great shot. If this was done in studio maybe add some colored light to see what it would look like. Also maybe lessen light and extend shutter speed to get a blur from the moving water. Would like to see some variations on the look just for the grins.
