ps thankyou also for your kind comments, regarding the orchids - there was about 18 different species growing wild in the mountainside of Northern Cyprus. It was fantastic - my parents are also avid orchid growers lol Best wishes ... Steve

I love soft water shots!!! They are quickly becoming my favorite thing to try! I think you've succeeded in getting the softness, as well as an interesting background location for the stream, but I find the angle a bit off, looking as the water rushes away from me, away from where you were taking the picture. Have you tried walking downstream and shooting back up at this? I would be curious to see if there is more power in the water and more balance in the image.

Thanks for your comments on this image.After looking at it I can see that it was over sharpened a bit, hence the halo around the rocks in the stream. Bill
