dear jon,
they are looking very much like this after four weeks already and i did some experimentals some time ago of super macros. they made some extraordinary colour compositions but a little weird looking too.

There is something about this 10 year old rose that just has such an emotional appeal to me. It was very special to Mom otherwise she would not have kept it. It stirs a lot of feelings inside of me.

I was at my mothers house a few months ago and I noticed this old dehydrated rose sitting on a small plate in her china closet. I asked her how long it had sat there and she said 10 years.. I asked her if it was okay if I took some photos of it and of course she allowed me to. It was so lite and fragile that I had to be extremely careful with it, least it would fall to pieces! thanks for all your lovely comments....jon
