Thanks for your flattering comments, Rebecca! Glad to have you as a Friend. It's true I don't make a huge number of comments--I just checked and in the last week I've made about 40 comments and posted 15-20 photos. I rarely make a comment unless I can say 2-3 sentences. One thing for sure--you get a lot more comments on a photo that looks good in a thumbnail than on a photo that requires seeing the details. In my portfolio, compare "Impassive" and "Southeast Asian Sundown" to see what I mean.
I'm happy to have just a few talented photographers, such as yourself, appreciate some of what I'm doing.
Usefilmers have definately let you down. I can not believe in the lack of comments on many of yours. It seems that to recieve comments, you have to make them. NO matter how good you are. Maybe you are very busy and don't sit here and make comments for hours like I do? lol..I, personally, love this. It's moody, dark, intense.. forget that you can't see his face..That's ART. Make his face what you dream it can be. I love it!
IMHO I think it's moody with an effective perspective. I just wish it were a tad lighter so that the Watchman stood out a bit more against the background. All in all, still a nice picture.
