About Do not try this at home! :) I set up a special rig in my car for fun to see what I'd capture while driving around town. My goal was to do this and finish up an existing roll of film in my camera, but I ended up at a scenic spot and spent another 2 hours exposing another roll of film (see my Absorbing Radiation self portrait... it was part of that next roll of film). As for this image... I snapped this while driving through a tunnel. I liked how it came out. If interested in seeing more of my work access my site at http://www.artbeacon.com/jmg-galleries Thanks for your time and comments.

jim, this is great! i've seen a few photos like this and have wanted to try it out. this kind of thing is definitely up my alley. i even ordered a culman suction cup but have not used it yet. how did you build your rig? btw, i dig the iPod ;^)

i hate to spam your image with this (usefilm should add the ability to email someone without posting their address) but thanks for your comment on the stone face. at first i used to think the contrail added to it but i really like what you did. much cleaner. as for it being dark, i stopped it down a bit because it was noon and the light was really a bit harsh.

take care,
tom

It is now one of my favorites. I really like how this one came out. Did you use flash? Tell me more about how you captured this image (info@throughseptember.com)...

Is this cool or WHAT!!!

What I notice is that the interior of the car is sharp as a tack and the walls and lights of the tunnel clearly have motion blur, which makes them seem so fluid.

Do you have any guess as to the shutter/aperture settinngs?

Amazing!

Hello Jim! Thank you for taking the time to comment on my photograph taken at Cannon Beach, Oregon. I live just outside of Portland in Vancouver, WA.

I really like this photo of yours. I understand you work with photoshop. I have been dabbling with it myself for a little bit. Self-taught.

I would like to share some more of my images with you, if you like. My email is carloslagos@yahoo.com If you have the time send me a line.

Thanks!

Great effect! I like that the inside of the car is sharp, while there is a feeling of movement in the tunnel/...

Very interesting photo! I'm amazed at the clarity of the tunnel and also inside the car. I feel like the back-seat driver. Now slow down and stop playing with your camera while driving :)
