This our first, but hopefully not last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm", Ms. Luijten. I looked at your webpage and through your entire portfolio more than once and was impressed by the quality of your photos, meeting a BIP, an EC and a SC on my way. After some vascilation between various excellent photo, I decided to comment on this one, because I found it the most beautiful among all the women portraits you posted. I could hardly tear my eyes off it. It was also relatively simple and simplicity, I've been told more than once, is one of the secrets of beauty in art. You are, of course invited to read my bio and to pay further visits to my portfolio. I think that you will find some similarity in the way we see and take photos of various objects, especioally flowers.
In the meantime, I thank you for your very generous comment on my "Figure 3", while taking note of your constructive critique.
Best regards,
Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communiocations) Springmann

Beautiful portrait Marion. Wonderful sepia toning and very good lighting although I think that lighting in the previous one is even better (more even). The only thing that distracts a little in my opinion are the small hairs in front of the models face....Best regards Harry

I like. a bit too many tiny hairs in her face.. easy removal in photoshop... but I do say it is very real.. natural looking for sure

Very good portrait Marion. The sepia looking shot is nice and woks here. Also the lighting is good even it is 'comming' from the wrong way that normaly must gives strong - bad' shadows at her face. Here this problem does not be! Very very good. I can say pro job.
