I am rather used to photos from a commercial flight.I fairly know most of the usual traps.The bigest one is to consider it can be done taking only what we see down there.A common camera is not able to cope with the task to make anything of any value,at a 12.000 meters distance, We all have over the counter cameras, not NASA jobs to use from satelites.The only way is to take as reference, the wing ,sometimes part of the window.To say it was a mistake to compose the shot with the wing, well...try to do that this way and then ,dare show what you got.

The anders mountains are beautifull, so is the picture. to bad you got the wing of the plane on the photo. But overall it is a wonderfull photo!
