The crop here is refreshing and dynamic - I don't mind the softness but I do wish the clarity were in her eyes rather than the rim of the hat...

The thing that I find the most distracting is the yellow - tones - I would go black and white with this - the correct conversion and her skin would smooth out beautifully...

the droplets are great. you know, my firts impression is don't touch a thing. it looks like you planned it this way.... soft tones and sweet girl!

Such an engaging expression. The water droplets add something worthwhile to the texture of her complexion. The unsual crop works well. I only wish both of theyes had been sharply defined the DOF must have been very shallow when you took this. Best wishes. David

Hi Issac, I'm drawn in by her expression and the nice flush right. You didn't give any detail on your ap, etc... but the softness is definitely there. Of course you can go either way here...increasing to get sharpness on the face, water droplets or the path you chose...One thing that does strike my eye is the "yellow" tones that I am seeing -- I am assuming you worked on this within ps. In my opinion I would decrease this a bit for added softness - concentration seems on chin and up on forehead - you can also perhaps use clone tool at "lesser" to even tones. In my opinion, I won't ever say "don't experiment" - I do it all the time, it's YOUR eye -- as well, the left background right under hat brim - you could clone over what appears like a "circle effect" caused from a hair, this would add more strength to her image. The "crop" does not bother me, that's of course either purposeful or maybe needs a bit of prep on your part...top of hat... I will give you credit for "sticking it out there" -- and experimenting as well. Look forward to seeing more - BTW, that's a nice camera you got there! ;) Regards, Cindi
