The composition is very well balanced and the simplicity of the subject, IMHO, esists only at a first glance. All the elements are very pleasantly placed and the birds on the left give a lovely final touch. Congrats, Hugo!

Hey Hugo.
Het probleem is dat in de coulise zwarte doeken hangen, daardoor werden de gezichten overbelicht. De witte achtergrond maakte veel goed, ik heb ook foto's vanuit de door jou aangegeven positie maar daar zijn ogen en mond niet meer aanwezig door extreme overbelichting. Inderdaad gaaf om naar Irak te gaan. Ik zelf wil ook wel vanalles zien en bereizen maar inderdaad geld is altijd een gebrek.
Veel plezier en kom terug met goede foto's!

Je kunt inderdaad wel zien dat het een oude scanner is, niet helemaal scherp. Maar niet te min een prachtige foto. Echt fantastisch hoe je de regen zo aan de horizon ziet neer komen. Alleen denk ik dat de dijk te donker is, nu kun je hier niks aan doen dus had ik, maar verbeter me als het niet goed is, er een stuk vanaf gesneden. Want nu is het zo'n groot gapend zwart gat onderin beeld.

I can imagine what do you feel looking at these old pictures, maybe they are blurred or dark or few color contrasted, but they have a magic mood for you and you?ll like them for ever, it happens the same with my old photos of my old ME, they are our story Hugo! Bye Max
