This is my first time using the digital camera to do what I normally would do with Fuji Velvia film. I still did slides during this trip.

You are getting some amazing photos from that digital camera. I'm a Fuji lover (S602Z) and love the colors and detail they seem to produce (in the right hands, of course). Is this your first foray into the world of no film? I especially like this one, it makes me shiver. Blue and red are always a striking combo, well done!

This is great! You can see the sharpness of the ice. It's a beautiful photograph! You do fantastic work.
p.s. YOu ought to come back up to Alaska. Lots of photo opportunities, especially for someone like you who knows
what they're doing, though you seem to be doing fine right where you are. I used to live in Anchorage too.

Excellent Mark, colors and tone are quite beautiful! You must get some really monster waves on that side of the pond, I'm over on the other side and the wind comes from over our back this time of year. I love how the ice stills the water. Get out and get more, gonna be cold tonight!
