I like the night shot of the lights, and the colors, but other than that it's an uninteresting shot. What is the subject of the photo?
Julien had some good ideas about composition, especially if you were intending for the lights to be your subject. As it stands now, it looks like there is no subject in this photo... just a snapshot of a street, that happened to be taken at nighttime.
hi there you asked how i got my frins to pose well it starts off with a bodal of jack danalds ..... lol no most of them are too shy but then i am able to talke them in to it mostly they do it to shut me up lol i explan what i am going to do with the photos and what i would like to do with them is all i do really and most of the people you see in my photos are people i just wolked up to on the street and asked them if i could photo them some have became frinds and others i have not seen a geen i get told no a lot but hay what duse that matter there is all was more people out there i just keep asking becuse photography is every thing to me and this is how i get things dun so i have to most of the photos i do are shot in my apt. using my windos for liting it is a bit hard to get people to come up some times but i do have a LOT of good refces and every one knows that when i am shooting i am 100% perfnal that there will be no slzy stuff and that i will all was keep my word like if i say i going to photo you with your sheart off but i will not show any brests then i do it (i do that often becuse close get in the way and i do not wont brests in the photo any way ) and i try my best to tell every modal where ther photos are going or published and a lot of people know that about me arond here so that is how i get to photo people that and i am a really nice person cant spell thow lol as for photoing you well i am in harrisonburg va and if your close let me know when
I like this kind of photogrpahy. I went out in the nigth too sometimes. The colours that are created by the artifical light are fun.
Compositionally I really have problem with this. Eventhough I like photos that are close to the ground like this with out of focus foreground I dont really like the fact that the horizon is in the center. Or in other words that in this case the top half of the image is practically empty.
I think it would have been much more interesting if you would have gotten a bit closer to those lamps so they could have filled more of the space, and maybe be more of a subject.
Maybe you could have made the lamps as they are in a row, form some sort of diagonal that goes from 3/4 of the right, to the left hand top corner.
