Nice shot Cliff .. I know nothing about darkrooms .. but I like the result.
In my opinion .. it would be much better if one of the three looked at the camera.

Thank you for your comments. This photo of my two daughters was taken in 1979 on holiday in Co.Kerry and then printed for my camera club exhibition. I only ever did two of these prints and sadly the other is lost. The materials are easily obtained and well worth a try.

We have a cottage on the coast of Maine, and recently the town there published a book of text and photographs about the last two hundred years of local history. This looks like a photo from that book, with all the memory and nostalgia such a project brings to life.
This is classically simple and beautifully evocative.
