I like the cool blue as a contrast against the passionate tango flush of their skin...

Jorge, No need to feel offended; the photo stats do not mention the actual setting. Besides, it is no critisism, nor am I implying that I would have done a better job, I'm just curious and trying to improve my work (and maybe that of others) I wouldn't have commented in the first place if the photo didn't attract my attention.

With the knowledge about the circumstances of the setting I now know, I agree that my theory would not have worked. A build-in flash would probably not even cover the distance, let alone get the desired effect. I still think it is a very good series, and the composition and the colours on stage are (maybe even more) excellent....:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Jorge, I like this series. Why didn't you use a fill flash with a slower shutter speed? It would have increased the atmosphere and the movement in the photos a bit. Would have made the tango more dynamic too! This one has an excellent composition and the colours on stage come out nicely.

Cheers,

Hugo
