I have been sitting here for a while looking at this photo and I just love it! So very original and bautiful! Personally I would crop the left side and not have the people in the photo... I do think they look very romantic and it gives a nice mood, but they don't feel "right" where they stand. Probably because my eyes jumps from seagull to them to seagull, and then I get confused which is the main point. Hard to explain how I mean, and I could also be wrong. Anyway, I DO find this shot really original and beautiful! I have seen a pigeon with only one leg and it seemed to have a normal life like the others.

Excellent shot, the composition is wonderful. And that seagull is superb, one leg missing probably :)? Well there are two other reasons why i love this one so much, first of all that tree is beautiful and secondly the clouds look so fantastic.Beautiful work Roger.

Roger, Wow! Such a beautiful picture..look at that sky! I can't help it.. the seagull's expression makes me think of all kinds of possible titles. Hey you could have waited till I got both legs down.I am gonna kick that guy's ass if he touches her again... Just having fun here Roger.. Rob

I like this just the way it is! :) As far as the sagulls go, let's get some alka-seltzer! (couldn't resist) My favorite elements are the clouds, the tree, and the toning. Perfect.

Roger, The way your photographs show such amazing cloud detail is fantastic. I have never seen anything like that. Funny stuff in the about section. That tree can can be a picture all by itself. Anyway, I really like (as I do all of yours) the way you composed this one. That couple on the left throws an even more interesting spin on this image than the yoga seagull. Great use of B&W here as well. Paul

Roger, there are many really good elements in this one but somehow it lacks an adequate unifying principle, leaves too many loose ends laying around. The tree is like nothing I've ever seen (I have a thing about trees as you may have noticed)--really great. And that distant sky is full of fascinating cloud structures. But what is the seagull DOING? And is it REALLY one legged, just picking one leg up, or what? Or perhaps it's a flamingo chick? And what's that couple doing on the extreme left there? A really mystifying picture but one that leaves me curiously unsatisfied. Sorry if that seems hardly in the spirit of Usefilm...

Lost the wing too. Great shot of a seagul which is hopping mad and flying around in circles. My lunch would feel safer with this one on the beach :-) Good use of DOF. Well done...........Phil

Brilliant sky and setting; although the one legged seagull is interesting, I think the bird is the least attractive element in your picture. I would have panned to the left a bit; leave out the crippled bird, and include the couple and tree. Technically very well executed!
