I'm so glad to have gone this far into your portfolio. What a treasure this is. It reminds me of when I was a child, how I liked to look at things like this; through kaleidoscopes, colored glass, up at the sky and into pools of water. I still look through pools of water. Once, a young boy came up to me when I was making a photograph... He asked me what I was doing. I told him to stand where I was standing and look into the pool of water and the sky and branches, and how the water would ripple. He was amazed, and never again did he think I was odd or insane! I laugh when I think of it. This photograph reminds me of my childhood, when the rains would come, and the sound of it as it hits the tin roofs. It starts with a vision, and the sounds come back.

hola jorge,
this is a wonderful detail. excellent composition, colours and sharpness. congratulations! the only flaw to perfection to me is the freezing of the water. makes it more look like melted metal. great work.

Fantastica, Jorge! La encuadra es perfecta--ni mucho detalle, ni muy poco; justo suficiente como para que los ojos se entretengan buscando color, textura, luz y sombras. Un charco cualquiera, y todos le damos 7. =)
