I'm no expert, but I think this photo is great. I like the cropping, the composition and I also like the background. I think that's because I'm not looking at this photo as simply a picture of a beautiful woman (which it is) but it has a real retro feal to it: the woman has big hair, dark mascara, spangly jewelry, the background stripes for some reason remind me of the 60s/70s. Maybe it's the .jpg file but the whole thing is kind of grainy too, it looks like a cool jazz album cover or something... Anyway I bet she has a good voice :)

I disagree with John - I like the position of the (gorgeous!) model, towards the right with her looking back towards the center. I agree concerning the background though. How about using PS to lighten and blur the background to one continuous light tone?

It's a stunning model. A composition with the open space in front of the model makes a better photograph. The background is a bit distracting. A complete monochrome background has the effect that the eye is attracted to the model. One could also consider to place the model in a meaningfull background. I wish you lots of success! John
