LaMaro, this is beautiful! The lighting is incredible and cloud formation so powerful, and wonderfully caught by your camera!

I think you did a fine job with the digital enhancement. I don't think it detracts anything from the picture itself, in fact it can really bring out the colours, optimize the brightness and improve the contrast. Of course it would be great to be able to do all that just with a sharp eye, good lenses, expensive film and the right filters, but there are cheaper alternatives...
All in all, excellent job both in composition and colours, well done :)

Oh my! What a GORGEOUS photo! The road leads the eye into the mountains with the BEAUTIFUL clouds, which seem to follow the shape of the mounatain. I was just going to ask if you used PS at all...and it looks like you did. Regardless, I'm sure it would look great without the touchup. Excellent. I am curious to see the original image.
