While browsing your portfolio, I went straight to Caught Snapping and was going to comment. But I noticed that it's had many comments and this one only 4 so far. So I thought to take a closer look at this one and see why it didn't capture my attention quite as much. I find the child in the foreground takes up too much space for being out of focus and not the subject of the image. Having a bracket of out of focus around your main subject is nice, but perhaps it's just too strong here. As well, his eyes seem a bit dark... some fill flash might have helped to pep up the eyes, but it would be tricky to not blow out the foreground person. Other than that, I really like the crisp tones in this image... the boy stands out well from the background and the white of his shirt still has just enough detail. People pics aren't my thing (mainly because I'm not very good at capturing character!) and so you can take my comments however you'd like. I think you've done a great job bringing forth the emotions from this boy and capturing them on film.

David, you focused on the happy to be photographed one! The other child looks a tad tentative. :) Wonderful capture.

And the story continues with its magic. I love this one, David, It seems that the child at front just stepped back to let you photograph his friend. Beautiful! Marília
