It's a welcoming gestures, whenever you pass by rural people, or bedouins in the desert, you are welcomed with that invitation: El Shay ala el nar, or the tea is ready on the fire. Got a close up on the pot, on the wood fire, which gives it a very special flavor. Location: Al Wahat Al Baharia, western desert, Egypt
I like it as it's rather dynamic, and the colours are vivid. The dynamicity comes from the blur created by the smoke and the vivid colours. It would though, have been so cool I think if you were able to see some of those bedouins in the reflection of the pot, as it would better convey the story behind it. Can't always get what you want... :-)
Another strong and contrasted image. I love the vapour floating and the fixed reflection on the tea pot. I simply can't understand how the fire works all around, but that makes the Pic so interessing.
what i like most about this picture is the smooth thransition from the warm red to the contrasting cool blue. the greys in the rest of the picture help draw your eyes to these two beautiful opposing colours, hence making them the focus point of the picture.
