Isaac, I have three comments/suggestions. First, I think a dead level horizon would be closer to the classic landscape photo concept. Second, having heavy, black detail-less areas in the photo can be very tricky. Here I would recommend metering for the beach, and using a graduated ND filter to keep the sky from becoming too bright. Finally, watch out for bits of trees entering the image along the edges :-)
