My husband wanted me to shoot a picture for his CD cover. It was his idea to wrap his hand in speaker wire, so in a way this image is half his. This image was really a luck shot. A few days before we had been flying home and I took a shot of the airplane jet engine. I rewound the film half way and proceeded to shoot more photos not knowing who was on top of what. After I was done I sat in my pitch black bathroom and tumbed through my make- up drawer grabbing eyeliner, mascara, etc. and blindly scribbling on the undeveloped negative. I actually got lots of fantastic results, this being my favorite (and yes, it did make the CD cover, the album was titled "Frustration", hence the name of the piece).
Excellent symbolism! Very interesting composition. How does it look in color? I seems to me that you could get even more attractive version in color, even though the B&W seems to be the natural selection for "frustration". Congratulations on great photo!
