Like a early Renaissance German portrait. Wonderful mood. I agree with Andrew's comments.

Dunno why this looks Christ-like to me, but it does. I love the expression, the light, and the inky square of black around it. Perfectly framed in darkness. A moody, feeling portrait. Excellent work. Allways glad to see your self shots.

Hey Ola! The numbers are part of a catalog scheme since I really hate to title photographs. If it is a self, then I will be labeled "SELF XXXXX". Photos of others I use there initials and then a number. For me, titles are sometimes presumptious and often times silly (how many times have you seen a crappy photo with a grand title and you sniker at the photographer because it seems they are full of themselves -- i'll admit i do it). I also don't want to lead the viewer too much, let them see what they see. If they see "nothing" then I failed, and its not because I mislead them, or lead them, without a title that implys a theme for the photo. This doesn't mean that I always refrain from titles, I do have a few photos that I have taken the time to assign titles to; however, the majority I just reference as "that guy on the log in the woods", "or that isolated penis" lol. I dont know the numbers to photos either, the are meaningless outside of the catalog system they are intended for. And its much more fun when someone tells me that they liked one of my photos and they have to describe to me what is going on in it, or what they remeber from it, rather than referencing a title :)

Verry nice framing, love the shadows, well composed portrait. Why you always putting numbers to your selfportraits? Is it something with identity? I,ve been thinking alot of this matter and havent come thru with any good idea.
