I think the overexposed grass keeps this shot from being ABSOLUTELY perfect, but that's such a small nit-pick considering the unique coolness of the subject matter. Not bad at all for one of your first "amateur" shots ever!

Thank you all of my friends here... you are really pushing me to learn more about photography... and to open my eyes more to see things around us in the daily life. I shot around 5 or 6 shots for the fireflies, but this is only the acceptable one... and this was one of my first "amateur" shots ever... first or second role of film on my new-at that time- SLR. Wish I have time to go back and re shoot it... but I still carry the guard experience in my mind... and keeping me off.

The grass is a bit fuzzy, but you've done an excellent job of capturing the firefly trails. They're so subtle and delicate - almost like smoke rising from a fire. Did you get any photos with the tree in as well?
I hope you didn't get in too much trouble . . . :)

How splendid! Good eye to realize the potential of this opportunity!
How many shots did you have to take to capture this?
