I love the texture (laquered?) of the black top to the bridge post, and the colour of the bridge itself. Nice contrast against the softer, out-of-focus greenery in the background. I have a stereo camera coming that should be in Japan by early December, and I'll be looking for scenes like this, a natural for stereo. It must have been quite dark for you to have to use F/4 and 1/8th... With that sharpness I thought I detected a tripod. But "handheld"? Wow, I'm impressed. It's all I can do to get 1/8th second shots that are sharp even with my 21mm lens.
