As with my last image, this was shot on fuji print film - not my usual choice but it came free with a magazine. It struggled with contrast but this is one of the better shots. Somehow, it didn't work in colour but looked much better once desaturated and given a sepia-type tone. I am unsure, however, whether the scene itself is too weak compositionally. As always, I'd be glad to hear what you think.
this is wonderful, with its strongest part being the contrast of the longexposed water with the rocks and stones! the composition is good in my opinion - trying alternative angles/focal lengths/perspectives might result in even more interesting pictures. the toning is nice, but the top of the image could be a little darker ;-) bye Daniel, kostas
There's a blur about the water that clashes somehow with the amazing sharpness of the rest of the photo. I'm betting that's exposure time and a tripod. Compositionally, the subject seems to be the rock in the water, but the amazing clarity of the steps and the rockwork below steals my eye. Great technical work, though!
Charming. May be it's the slow exposure, whatever, you've managed a nice bend of perspective that makes your wee rock lock like a tall island. Romance here.
