I like this one better Matt. You seem to have better control over the highlights in this version and there is much more detail in the feathers here.
You have a better pose here too.
And I thought I had boney legs...

I really appreciate the composition...it is difficult(at least I find it so) to find a bird who will be gracious enough to sit still much less in an area where the background sets the photo apart. Usually there is junk behind them and so this is beautiful with the dark background on the one side and the texture and grounding of the rock on the right side. Nice capture.
