Hi,
The center of this shot is great, the central thistle is perfect and the DOF'd out background brings it out nicely.
However, I'm in agreement with Kim. I think a crop would greatly benefit the shot, taking out a lot of the top and some from the left. For me the thistle on the extreme left should go as it distracts.

Nice detail on the thistle... but I feel there is too much blank space above the thistle. THe DOF is great to blur it out, but there's just too much of nothing up there. If you crop this into an almost square image it has a great feel.
