About I was really just fiddling with the settings on the camera whilst het was driving and snapped this rye glance from my lovely other half. I didn't even look at it full screen when I got it onto the machine becasue it was bleached out and almost deleted it. However, a bit of an exageration of the overexposure in PS, some softening and desaturation and I think its pretty approachable. Its not a classic but given I shot it by accident, not bad!

Thanks peter but its actually underexposed! The shot was basically an accident anyway but after looking at it I wanted to try and bleach out as much extraneous detail as possible, so my ideal would be to loose any defined 'edge' on the left side. I could mess with it more in PS but as I've said before, I'm trying to stop my relance on the digital darkroom to sort out image issues. This image is already a bit overprocessed but if I hadm]n't gone this far it would have been unusable. Posting this is more an excercise in the critique of serendipity than my own limited skills.

andrew, i was puzzled at first how you could be next to her driving and shoot from the left, because i always connect your name to spain. your effort worked out nice and that is small wonder with a companion like her!!! it is always worthwile to snap a portrait or two of the driver paying no attention to the camera.
elsewise i couldn't comment better than richard did.
best regards

Moments later you crashed into a busy icecream van and fled and Nick Ross is still reading out your descriptions on a Sunday night...

Lovely candid shot, do you really need to be lusting after Lisa? ;-)
