About Now that the sun rises later in the morning, I've been taking my camera on my long drive into work. I caught this shot the other day. I was wishing I could float to work with them instead of dealing with the long line of traffic once I got into Austin's city limits.

Carol; a unique and beautiful capture-- and I got a kick out of you putting it in the "transportation" category;>) I'm one of those photographers that have a tendency to crop ruthlessly-- sometimes too much-- and that was my reaction with to this photo too. As is, I'd say it's just a little static with the balloons pretty centered, but OTOH, it shows a good sense of spaciousness. You might play with some different croppings though. I love the lighting and the trees, and the sky is really nice too. Because I like the trees on the left so much, I'd look at cropping on right and top for a more dynamic composition. Very nice as is though too.

The two silhouettes are neat. I think a slight cropping of the sky would have even made this better. very nice shot.

Yes, very nice. Great mood setter before going to work.Especially getting it on film on the way to work.

I like this shot a lot.
The two silhouettes against the soft colours of the sky look very beautiful and are perfectly in the middle of the image.
Excellent composition

You should've Photoshopped those two balloons to invert them - Then they would look like teardrops, reflecting your lamenting your commute! Nice shot, but I bet it would look a lot nice with a tighter crop! And are those jaggedy edges on the RH balloon really there, or a digitizing artifact?
