About Shot with Cokin P173 and light blue grad, on tripod. Getting the composition right was quite difficult here since I was shooting from a steep hill and have nowhere to go. But it worked out okay. Time: 6:30am. Location: Forillon National Park, Quebec, Canada.

Beautiful work. Excellent textures and tones. Pity there are no more scores.
Ciao,
Pablo.

Your emotions are experssed in your pictures and you have mastered the technical aspects of photography.

Lovely shot!
The harmony of colors, light and composition are wonderful.

Kenneth, what an outstanding shot. I agree with John about cropping out the shore line at the top of the photo, I think it would make it a better photo.

Kenneth, also one more question. I know you rent a Nikon 4000 scanner for scanning work. How wonderful it is? and how often you rent? how many scans you can get done in one hour? thanks!

You just use so many filters and it is interesting. I will get my first ND grad (soft) this week and really want to see what difference it going to make. The composition is very creative. But it may have some weakness: the right part is not nice as the left part. it may let me loose just a little balance.

This is why you should regularly use Velvia Ken. The saturation (along with some photoshop) is wonderful! The composition is not the smoothest here in my opinion, but the colors are eye catching enough to still make this a very nice image.

The colours are outstanding! It?s great!.... But I think the house in the foreground stands out too much. I would increase focal distance of the lens and try to make the shot from larger distance. In that case the nature would play dominating role in the composition. But probably it was not possible in real situation.

wonderful shot. the colors are extraordinary and you have a great eye:). however, i think this shot would benefit from a light crop off the top to get rid of the far-away shore line in the distance.
