Double exposure shot on tripod; each 1-stop under with and without the Cokin P173 polarizer. I thought the softer purple created by the "half" filtration looked cool. Full filtration would have given an intense purple. The structure in front is the Exhibition and Convention Centre, built for the change-over ceremonies, and the building at the back is the tallest in Hong Kong, Central Plaza. Location: Wan Chai, Hong Kong SAR, China.
Beautiful Kenneth. I love shots of architecture and you found wonderful light and the "half" filtering works.
I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about the building on the left. Maybe it's because there's two images here. The tall buildings and the one on the left.
Technically a superb image. This is so sharp that it cuts the eyes just looking at it. The purple is fine as well. This image lacks the drama and beauty that I am used to with your shots, but that is just my opinion. I do not care for man made images too much. Technically very solid though.
Thought you would like to know....I just returned from a shooting trip on the Big isle with the Kilauea lava flow. I brought and used a ...um, tripod. Am getting more comfortable with them. Blurred some waterfall and black beach images as well. See, I am listening!! At the rate I am going will post them in 2005. Back to editing!
