Ursula, this is such pretty light. It makes the petals just glow.
Thanks for your sweet comments. Texturing! I usually don't really notice what I'm doing in PS, I sort of play around. But I have not used their textures if that is what you mean by 'canned'. I have photographed them. I lay it(the texture image) over the photo and then play in filters to get the effect I like. The one the works best is Overlay, sometimes ones like Multiply or Soft Light...depends what look you want of course... I was never told how to do this, so there maybe other methods, on top of that I may add another texture, or gradients...some of my photos have countless layers! I usually flattened my layers inbetween my adding of others, though I hear that is a nono...but works for me. :) Not sure if this will be of any help as I am so not technical.
