I think the lights of the subject are few and not as bright as expected, i think you need to open the aperture bit bigger, Best regards

Nice! The moon is perfectly placed, which is especially difficult considering it's a double exposure. Both exposures were right on. Beautiful colours and good composition. This makes me miss Vancouver. Well-done.

I think the shot stands well on it's own, without the added moon. Maybe I'm a snob and don't realize it! When I learned to recognize an out-of-proportion moon, these double exposures began to look artificial to me. The world is an amazing place, even without distortion.

Yes Kim , better longer shutter with the small Aperture for landscape will give you better DOF , and for the moon you do not need DOF so better higher shutter speed if you can.

Thanks Chris and Hassan, I am scanning the print... but I am hoping really soon to get a scanner in which I can scan my own slides and negatives, as I've had it with labs and their bad printing! Chris, I guess I should probably leave the shutter open longer on the landscape part of the image and shorter on the moon. Right? Anyways I don't have neat image, although I've heard good things about it. Maybe I should try the free download.

Kim,
You need to leave the shutter open longer on the second exposure (or shorter on the first one) to a good double. Also are you scanning the prints or the actual negitives? If your scanning the prints then that is why your getting grain because the photo finisher is trying to even out the print.

Hello Kim , First it's a good shot and I'll replay now on the noise then I'll back to replay the rest ,, did you tried "Neat Image" , it's a software for removing grains and noise created from hight ISO or long exposures , you'll fine a demo vertion which is full function on the web ,, attached my try with "Neat Image" . Good try. As it is looks good. About tech. - May be the second exposure should not be as long.
