I really enjoyed this photograph and learned a few things from it. One is that the Pentax 45mm lens for 6 x 4.5 doesn't have a flare problem. The second is you don't mind getting your tripod feet wet! (You must have used one for a 1/4sec exposure and that sand surely looks wet to me!). But I'm assuming a very low viewpoint close to the ground. I suppose the channels in the sand could be larger than I imagine, and taken from a higher vantage point. It's a beautiful, very satisfying image. And the line of city buildings on the horizon makes an important contribution to it. Well done!
