Yes, I was a little concerned that you'd lose some of that lovely shadow if you cropped. In any case, it all boils down to a personal artistic decision. (-: And it's a fine photo as it stands. Regards, Donna

Donna D: thank you for your suggestion. It could help the cropping as you suggest, but I'm afraid I'd have to crop too much from the bottom to bring the "subjects" really closer (for more details on them)... and that would change the composition, I'd loose some nice shadows and lights in the forground... and yes, some more details in the foreground would help.

Suggestion: Crop the bottom a little to bring the figures closer, and tease out (e.g., with a Burn/Dodge layer) more detail in the foreground.
