Love it, John. The HPs are nice cameras. Buy 3 or more pixels. My is 2.1 and is good, but one day I will buy more pixels. Thanks for your comments. :)

"Ogden Divide Road" is a new phrase I hadn't ever heard before. If there's a road that "divides" Ogden, it must've been 12th Street, which starts at the I-15 freeway and charges through town and up Ogden Canyon. But anyway, thanks for the clarification.

Hi John Reed,
We were standing at the beginning of the Ogden Divide Road (as it was closed at the time for refurb)looking down towards the great salt lake with Ogden below..as I was informed by a relative at the time.

Two quibbles: 1) I agree that the composition needs more of a center of interest. 2) I was raised in Ogden, and looking west, as you would be at sunset time, would you not be looking over the Great Salt Lake? Isn't that the water in your photo? Maybe it's been too long, but whenever I stood on the East Bench and looked North, East, or South, I saw mountains, like Malan Peak, Willard Peak, etc., all a lot closer than your photo.

nice colours John, but why the desaturated grey tones, its hard to do a new and interesting sunset, if you take out the pretty colours there is not much else, how about adding some foreground interest with a little fill flash
