hard to believe that such a dream landscape can be real, great. It would be even better with more dramatic sky

In that case, this is an amazing shot. Do us a favor - post another picture from a different time of year. Since the field is ploughed, presumably there will be a green crop growing there sometime in the (near) future. This scene would be interesting at sunrise with wheat waving in the breeze. Thanks for your gracious explanation - I still blush.

Hi Francesco wonderful composition and color arrangment. I love the tendency from this landscape image, i was often there, but i have never found such good conditions.
You tooked the picture in autumn? i would cut the sky more.
PS. thank you so much for taking time to look at my infraed images. Thank you. It encouraged my to continue my work.

immagine veramente molto magica, complimenti
PS per il titolo di The end of love....come vedi ci sono solo due sedie "accoppiate" e per giunta storte rispetto alla moltitudine di sedie singole.....come dire l'ultima coppia, l'ultimo amore.....appunto: la fine dell'amore

Hi Bob..I appece your comment, but, sorry ,this immage is not manipuled. Only a litte in the contrast! Not a sand but a ploughig field!

I didn't rate this because I want to comment a bit about the digital manipulation. I believe the image has been manipulated, but I don't care for it because I think it looks a bit to artificial. If I'm reading the clues incorrectly, I'm sorry. The "dunes" look like ripples in sand - taken from fairly close - you can see the grains of sand in the foreground. But, if you like the image, give the image a high rating. St. Ansel made many (most) of his wonderful prints by pulling the image out of the negative. The major difference is that we don't have to breathe in the chemicals he did, and wash the residues down the drain. However, if the image works, what does it matter if it was all in camera, enhanced in a traditional wet darkroom, or in a digital darkroom? For myself, I sometimes take pride in capturing the image I want at the tripping of the shutter. But that doesn't mean my image is better or purer than an equally beautiful or effective image that was manipulated.
The only caveat I would make would be for PJ work or any other photography that claims to record events accurately (whatever that means!).
As for this image, it's pretty good, but what I perceive as an internal inconsistency is bothersome to me. But, digital manipulation per se is not an issue. Sorry to ramble on, but I've been thinking about this a lot lately.
PS - if what I'm calling grains of sand are really rocks, I apologize and blush.

I love this. But I'm not sure if I should love it too much. Since you shot this digitally, how do I know you didn't plant those trees there and made a few other major distortions using photoshop? As for a photograph, I give it a 5 because I don't know. Maybe you can explain to me. As a graphic art piece, I give it a 10.

Paesaggio molto sfruttato, non certo per colpa tua, ma che hai reso in modo sicuramnte originale, con questo terreno dall'aspetto brullo e quasi lunare, realizzando una foto veramente affascinante e che cattura l'attenzione. Ciao Max

Excellent composition and color. It's an unreal scene, I love the micro/macro sclae of things. The trees in the back, and then the hint of other things in the way back. Siena? mai vista cosi :)
