I really like this one. You seem to have captured a gentle moment between the subject and the dog. His softness adds to that. I like the composition...side view works well for me.
Hey! Thanks for comments, heh. If I had photographed it from the other side, there would be her portch in the photo, which I personally think is way too busy to have as a subject of the photo. Besides, the photo was very quickly taken, snap bamm boom. taa-daa!! Well, Thank you again for your comments, I agree with them and will try to think about things like this more, next time. =)
Hi, Sean, I like the subject matter of your picture, here. I love dogs and cats! I agree with James about the hotspot in the background, and I think that if you could have gotten around to the right and shown the expression of the dog enjoying having his ears scratched, you would have gotten much more of the face of your model, who seems very photogenic. Was there a problem with the backdrop to the left? Sue
