Really neat macro Ursula, looks like Mickey Mouse missing an ear =o) I haven't seen silver dollars for few years, but my Grandmother had them. They do make such nice fillers for arrangements now I know they also make interesting macros. Well done.

Very nice display of colors. I like the subject with a dark rim and hot reds in the background. The dark areas around the edges of the image balance nicely. What I find hurts the image is the one dark portion at about 2:00 from the subject. The intense contrast it creates with the brightest portion of bg is a distraction. Before taking a shot always scan the contrast of the image. The eye goes to the highest contrast first. Then ask yourself, is that what you want the viewer to see first?
