The beautifully polished marble sculpture, "Psyche Revived By The Kiss Of Eros", by the Italian Sculptor ANTOINE CANOVA (1757-1822)from the Neoclassical Period in Italy.The sculpture can be found in the "Gallerie Michel-Ange" (Room 4) of the Louvre Museum in Paris. Probably the greatest museum in the world in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
But... did you know that the kiss of Eros CAN NOT reach Psyche, in NO case? Never and ever... poor Psyche... Yeah, the legend wants that if Eros reaches her, it isn't any more LOVE ...but ,exactely: EROS!!!
