Fiddling... Well. This is my critique. There is nothing cliche'-ish about your work. Whether or not it is personally appealing (which it is to me...) or not, it has a quality that is fresh... never done before. I speak to this image as well as several of your others.... there is no overdone "cuteness", no redundant "sugar syrup" qualities. Your images are strong, original, and quite unique with an unusual viewpoint that is quite acceptable, but certainly NOT middle of the road. Your images provide a new angle.... All sorts of people can take photographs, some get lucky and capture an excellent image... YOU consistantly exhibit excellent work. Therefore I must assume there is no luck involved, but absolute talent. I admire your work.

Both are very serene, but the soft focus is especially soothing to my heat incensed Texas eyeballs.
The rana clamitans peeking out from the amongst the shelter of the nymphaea violacea is a most charming touch to your capture.
