I like the background as well, but I also like the people, it looks like it would look if we were there observing the scene ourselves. I would've removed the date and time.

I don't think this works very well. You can't see the woman's face, you can't really see the boy's face, their white tops sort of merge together. The guy on the right looks like a potentially interesting character, but his presence is suppressed by that of the other two people. What I like in this image is the hazy view of the house in the background.
