Thank all of you for your kind words! AS I said before, this was my forst ever motorcycle races (day or night). I was invited by a friend as a payback for a favor. I took my camera almost as an after thought. I didn't go out from the club house to shot until there were about 5 races left. The first few frames were almost all black. I kept adjusting the camera until I was out at the outer limits of the strobe (that was the first time ever for that strobe type) and shooting wide open. Focus was near impossible. Out of the 75 frames I had maybe 8 that were acceptable and a few that were this good. Being able to see the image moments after shooting helps to sort out any problems. I was very glad to be on a "busman's holiday" for this and not on a commercial assignment.

I would strugle to take a shot half as good as this in daylight, let alone at night time... You've definately pulled it off!!!
Cool shot Joe :-)

Amazing picture as well. I can just imagine how difficult this subject must be. This picture is full of action and my mind tells me that the ryder is not recovering from leaning too far...
