Don Jose, this is a wonderful image, very sensitive. It generates a deep emotional response. You have such appreciation for different cultures and one can feel your respect when approaching those from other countries. i have a question however..this is the second image of yours that i felt the little stab of disappointment that you had applied so much texture to an image that really evokes so much in its simplest state. Truly, this image didn't need anything more than your eye and the relationship you had with this man who has given so much back to you with the honor in his face, the placement of his hands overy his chest, the expression in his eyes. Why go that extra step to cover the essential perfection of your image? To me, you needed only to present the image as you saw it to have a winner in your portfolio.
